CENTRAL ONTARIO REGIONAL TRUCK DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

CORTDC is a not-for-profit volunteer organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for professional truck drivers to showcase their talents.  It gives the trucking industry a means to promote safe driving and skill, and the drivers a chance to demonstrate their professionalism in the industry.

By means of a written test, an obstacle course and a truck inspection, drivers compete to for 1 of 10 trophies, including Rookie of the Year, Team Award, Safety Award, Highest Points, and Grand Champion.

Drivers can compete in 1 of 5 classes – Straight Truck, Single Axle Tractor/Single Axle Trailer, Single Axle Tractor/Tandem Axle Trailer, Tandem Axle Tractor/Tandem Axle Trailer, or B-Trains. Driver Registration is now open and limited to 50 drivers.

Awards Banquet: Royal Canadian Polish Legion Branch #412, 601 Wellington Street North, Kitchener, ON, N2H 5L6, Doors open at 5:30pm; Awards Banquet starts at 6:30pm
